     Title: ENGLAND NETBALL AND INTO SPORT GROUP ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

England Netball, the governing body for netball in England, has agreed a partnership agreement with Into Sport Group, the digital media and production Company behind intosport.com, the free sports coaching and community website.

Under the agreement the two organisations will work together to enhance England Netball’s current online and digital resources supporting coaches, teachers, coach education, and the excel pathway for athletes.

The partnership will also see Into Sport Group supporting a range of other areas including development and production of training resources to support and develop coach education and Back to Netball, the programme designed to attract former players back to the game.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the launch of intosport.com’s free online netball coaching resource, the Shock Absorber Netball Academy, the creation of which saw the organisations working together for the first time. The virtual academy has been promoted by England Netball as a key support resource for players, teachers , club volunteers and coaches wanting to improve their knowledge of the game or find new ideas for training. Users of the academy will also be encouraged to recognise the wider benefits of joining England Netball, and drive the membership and participation  of the game.

Commenting on the announcement Nigel Holl, Director of Netball for England Netball said “The partnership with Into Sport Group offers us the chance to work with a company with a vision that is closely aligned to ours, and one that makes the most of bang up to date technology. I know people involved in all levels of the game will see a direct benefit, and importantly one that fits alongside, and is complementary with, our own courses and programmes.”
